Safari Greg Weekend Shows

July 26th, 2014

Safari Greg will be performing his educational shows every Saturday and Sunday in the air-conditioned Events Pavilion. For show times call the Gift Shop at 512 288 1490 Tickets are available in the Gift Shop. $4 ages 12 and up; $2 ages 2 – 12; under 2 free of charge. Ticket prices are in addition to regular Zoo admission. Seating is limited!

New Venue for Parties

Looking for a cool place to have a birthday party or special event? Look no farther than our Events Pavilion! This spacious 875 square foot indoor, temperature controlled venue is available for rental daily for $100.00 for a two hour time slot, 10 am to 12pm, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The space, located inside our Education Building, is ideal for Safari Greg shows and birthday parties. Call the Gift Shop at 512-288-1490 to reserve space today!

Weekly Activites

Encounter two new educational experiences with Audrey!

  • Storytime – Every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:15 am and 1:15 pm, Audrey, our education specialist, will read books from our gift shop to our wonderful zoo visitors in the Peacock Barn.

  • Toys for Animals – Help Audrey make toys for our animals every Monday at 1:30 pm and Wednesday at 11:30 am! You will learn all about what it takes to make a good “enrichment” for each of our animals.

Petting Corral Closed Until August

March 28th, 2014

Our Petting Corral will be closed until August 1, 2014. This refers to the area where you can go in and mingle with the goats and sheep. Animal food for goats, sheep, deer, and llamas will still be available to be fed to the animals through the fence.
