A teacher who will be attending must book the field trip in advance. After receiving your booking information, we will send a confirmation letter that must be turned in upon arrival at Austin Zoo.
It is very important that you share all of the enclosed information with all of the teachers and parents that will be coming on the field trip.
- Unload and load children in the bus parking lot, located all the way to the back right corner of the regular parking lot. Please do not unload, load, or park in the driveway or regular parking lot for safety reasons.
- If parents and/or siblings of attending students wish to be included under the group rate of $3.50 per person, please make prior arrangements with the teacher in charge of payment. Otherwise, additional visitors will be charged our full admission price ($7 for adults and $4 for children, ages 2-12).
- Memberships are not valid during field trips.
- Cash is our preferred method of payment. We also accept MasterCard, Visa, and school checks.
- Animal feed is not available for school groups.
- Please provide your students with drinking water, as water fountains are not available on the grounds.
