We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Great Strides Austin walk benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation here at the zoo today. More than 600 walkers helped raise over $120,000 for this worthy cause.

Austin Zoo is in need of donations of animal carriers, or crates, for holding and transporting our animals. These can be donated new or gently used, and we are looking for any size or shape. As always, your donations are tax-deductible. Austin Zoo accepts donations in the gift shop every day, from 10am to 5pm.
