New Venue for Parties

Check out the new Events Pavilion that will be opening May 24! The spacious 875 square foot indoor, temperature controlled birthday venue will be available for rental daily for $150.00 for a two hour time slot, 10 am to 12pm, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The space, located inside our Education Building, will be ideal for Safari Greg shows and birthday parties. Call the gift shop at 512 288 1490 to reserve this future space today!

Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday, April 6th, 2014

Join us on Saturday, April 19th from 8:30am to 9:30am for our Easter Egg hunt. Children ages 2 to 10 will delight in finding toy filled (no candy) eggs. To secure your spot, please call our Gift Shop at 512-288-1490.

  • Members will be able to participate for free
  • Non-members – Regular Zoo admission + $3.00 for each child hunting
  • Ages 2 – 4 begins at 8:45
  • Ages 5 – 10 begins at 9:00
  • Bring your own Easter Basket
  • Closed-toed shoes are encouraged
  • Advance reservations required

Petting Corral Closed During April, May

Our Petting Corral will be closed during the months of April and May. This refers to the area where you can go in and mingle with the goats and sheep. Animal food for goats, sheep, deer, and llamas will still be available to be fed to the animals through the fence.
