BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Call Austin Zoo (512-288-1490) to schedule your party or event. We will then reserve tables for you in our picnic area under the trees. One grill is available for cook outs. Please let us know if you wish to reserve the grill when you call to schedule your event. There is no deposit required. The tables will remain reserved for you until the conclusion of your event or the closing of the zoo, at 6:00 PM. For reference, each table is six feet long.
Bring a guest list of all the children and/or adults that are expected to attend with your group. We will check off your guests as they arrive.
Animal food is available for $1 per bag and can be used to feed our goats, deer, and the llama in the feeding area.
Train rides are also available for $2.50 per person. It is easiest to get a bulk of tickets from the office at the beginning of your trip, and then return the tickets you do not use. If you have a very large group or if you plan to attend on a particularly busy day, a private train ride can be scheduled. Ask the office staff to arrange that for you.
Settle up your bill at the conclusion of your party. Prices depend upon the number of guests you have.
